About Bogdan Davidescu MD

Medical Acupuncture, including Chinese Scalp Acupuncture ,French Energetics and Traditional Chinese Medicine for various medical conditions, as presented by American Academy of Medical Acupuncture (www.medicalacupuncture.org):

  • Digestive disorders: gastritis and hyperacidity, spastic colon, constipation, diarrhea.

  • Respiratory disorders: sinusitis, sore throat, bronchitis, asthma, recurrent chest infections.

  • We believe that Prevention is the Best Medicine, so we provide "Wei Qi" tonification, which is like an acupuncture "flu shot" taken 2-3 times x year. This would not interfere with the regular flu shot and is not a substitute for flu shot, either.

Dr. Bogdan Davidescu

Dr. Bogdan Davidescu is Board Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with subspeciality in Pain Medicine. 

He graduated the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Carol Davila- Military Medicine Institute, one of the oldest and most prestigious medical schools from Romania.

Dr. Davidescu did one year of Internal Medicine at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, and continued his medical training with a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York Medical College-Metropolitan Hospital, were he was the Chief Resident in his last year of training.

Dr. Davidescu did a Pain Medicine Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Dr. Davidescu has been a Pain Medicine/Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Attending in the Rehabilitation Medicine Department from James J Peters VA Medical Center since 2012 and is an Instructor affiliated with Mount Sinai School of Medicine and New York Medical College,

Dr. Davidescu is a graduate of Helms Medical Institute, where he acquired the skill to treat various medical conditions using Medical Acupuncture.
